| Drawing , keep it simple. |

| Mask goldenrod and grasses in foreground |

| Start with grey wash with a flat brush. Use a little less water than with the cold press paper. |

| Next block in big areas of color |
 |
| I then started to build up door a bit more, mixing grey and reds blending and adding texture. |

| Adding a few shadows start to make it come alive! |
 |
| Continuing with some darks , beginning with clapboards. |
 |
| Next I added many more grasses and leaves with mask and then added a darker layer to foliage to start to add depth. I also added a second layer of detail to background evergreens. |

| Continued to add darks below window on left and added the implication of missing cross board on door, by lifting some paint. |
