Start with a wash on sky. Remember to use as much clear water as pigment to blend and diffuse colors |

Think of simplifying masses of trees in to simple shapes. Ignore detail at first. |

Here i added more value to sky and fog
|

Here I added more color to sky, using clear water to soften edges and I added more layers to the groups of trees. I then added first layer o rocks in wall. |

I continued to add shadows on stone wall and foreground snow |
